Connect your AI

  1. Open Quillmora from Shopify admin. The store owner opens AI connections.
  2. Paste an API key from Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic. Save it, then choose Test connection & load models.
  3. Select an available text model, enable the provider, and save. Model availability depends on your provider account. A chat subscription is not an API account.
  4. For estimated dollar budgets, enter and confirm the highest applicable input and output USD rates per million tokens for the selected model.
  5. In Usage & limits, choose daily requests, monthly tokens, maximum output tokens and an optional estimated USD cap. Resets use UTC.

Create, review and publish

Write a topic and brief, optionally select up to five products, and confirm sharing those facts with the selected AI provider. Generate an outline or article. Review every claim and save your edits.

Choose a blog and save a hidden Shopify draft first. Publishing requires a separate explicit confirmation. You can hide a previously published article again. Saving locally does not change the online store.

SEO title and description are stored with your local draft for copying into Shopify’s search listing editor; automatic SEO-field sync is not in this release.

Usage and interrupted requests

We reserve allowance before generation and reconcile completed requests with reported provider usage, including reasoning tokens. Timeouts and interrupted requests retain the full reservation because the provider may have charged. We do not automatically retry generation or ambiguous article creation.

For an interrupted Shopify create, use Recover sync. If recovery cannot identify the article, contact support before creating another copy. Remote Shopify edits require explicit replacement approval.

Dollar figures are estimates from the model rates you supply. They exclude taxes, tier changes, discounts and activity outside Quillmora. Use provider-side controls for your provider account. Token-count APIs and model access can differ by account.
